Frank gathers water from the Onion Creek crossing
at McKinney Falls State Park

McKinney Falls is a most exceptional park...

...plenty of water (2 separate falls)...

...an lots of limestone to walk around.

Coming in San Antonio from McKinney Falls,
we are greeted by this skyline view of downtown Austin.

On to and through Guerrero park...

...to the Longhorn Dam on the mighty Colorado River, a perfect natural crossing for wagons and horses due to the limestone rock shelf.

Frank and Mark rest under the shade of a giant sycamore tree below Pleasant Valley Road before cycling on to Manor.
